The Show Will Go On

If you had told me ten years ago that I was going to be a Burlesque performer and mother, I would have called you crazy. Getting to do something I love, creatively, while also hanging out with my friends and enjoying a libation or two? That’s pretty much the dream and the show will go on.

So, when we decided to add a new creative element—this podcast and blog—I was excited to sign up! We all were! Especially with our ability to perform being extremely limited for the weeks, months, and now years following Covid.

Now that life has returned to some semblance of “normal,” so much has changed for me, and all the ladies of Cabaret and Cocktails. Lily got engaged and took over as part of the family business! Miss F-Bomb started a business and has been traveling again! Sadie Vine had a second kid and started her MBA! I wrote a book (two, actually!), started another podcast and two new businesses, and moved across an ocean! That’s a lot!

That being said, we have been so grateful to have this forum in which to share our love of dancing and drinking and drinking while dancing, and so grateful to have all of you listeners and readers as a new part of our incredible audience.

So, we don’t want you to be alarmed when you discover the podcast and blog taking a pause for a moment. The show will go on, just not as regularly scheduled.

The good news is that we are performing on stage again and have lots of incredible ideas to share with you in the coming months—costume tutorials, product reviews, cocktail recommendations, Burlesque Salons, and so, so much more!

So please keep following the ladies of Burlesque Moms and Cabaret and Cocktails. You haven’t seen the last of us! And thank you for all your support so far—you’ve helped us live our dream in so many ways. Thank you!
